Fatal Hit-And-Run Bicycle Accident in Koreatown
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 26, 2022) – A fatal Koreatown hit-and-run crash involving two brothers riding bicycles happened early Tuesday at Olympic Boulevard and Mariposa Avenue.
The deadly crash occurred about 3:40 a.m. on April 26th at Olympic Boulevard and Mariposa Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The two men were riding their bikes to work at the time of the collision. One of the men died at the scene, and paramedics transported the other man to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the victim’s name after relatives are notified.
There is no description of the hit-and-run vehicle.
Investigators are working on the case and seeking the public’s help finding the suspect.
