La Verne Pedestrian Accident: Man, 89, Struck and Killed
LA VERNE, Calif. (July 31, 2019) – An 89-year-old man was struck by a vehicle early Wednesday afternoon in a fatal La Verne pedestrian accident.
The injured man was rushed to a hospital following the 12:25 p.m. crash where he later died of his injuries.
Paramedics and police found the 89-year- old man lying in the roadway. The La Verne Police Department and La Verne Fire Department responded to the scene at Arrow Highway and A Street.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stopped and was cooperating with the investigation, police said.
