Driver Killed, 3 Injured in Lancaster Crash
LANCASTER, Calif. (May 1, 2024) – One of the four people injured in a car accident died Tuesday morning after the two-vehicle crash on State Route 138 near Lancaster.
The collision occurred at around 7:22 a.m. on April 30th, at 90th Street West, according to the California Highway Patrol and MyNewsLA.
Police officers responded to SR-138 where the drivers of a southbound 2005 Toyota who was driving along 90th Street and a westbound 2015 Freightliner semi-truck on State Route 138 collided.
Authorities said the driver of the Toyota suffered major injuries and died after the crash.
Meanwhile, two juvenile passengers who were riding in the Toyota suffered major injuries and were airlifted by helicopter to Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
Furthermore, the Freightliner’s driver was treated for minor injuries at Antelope Valley Medical Center.
