Woman Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash in Lancaster
LANCASTER, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2023) – A fatal Lancaster crash happened Sunday morning at 10th Street West and Avenue L in Los Angeles County.
The traffic accident occurred at about 6:25 a.m. on Oct. 8th, according to MyNewsLA.
A woman riding as a passenger in a Chevrolet sedan died following the two-vehicle crash between the car and a Jeep.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster station is investigating.
Preliminary results indicate the Jeep was traveling eastbound on Avenue L before it crashed into the southbound Chevrolet sedan at 10th Street West, police said.
Paramedics resulted and located the woman suffering major injuries, but unfortunately she died at the scene. There are no other known injuries reported at this time.
While alcohol and or drugs do not appear to be factor, the cause of the Lancaster crash on 10th Street remains under investigation.
The sheriff’s Lancaster station is asking witnesses to call them at 661-948-8466.
