LANCASTER, Calif. (August 28, 2023) — A fatal Lancaster crash happened Monday morning at Highway 138 and 110th Street West in the Antelope Valley.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. on August 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
The drivers of a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup truck and a Peterbilt semi-truck and trailer were involved in the collision.
One person died at the scene of the collision at the Lancaster intersection.
It’s unknown what led up to the accident, but traffic on Highway 138 did not have a stop sign and traffic on 110th Street West did have a stop sign.
The SUV sustained major front-end damage and the semi-truck had major right front damage following the accident.
Three tow trucks removed the truck, trailer and pickup truck from the roadway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Lancaster fatal crash on Highway 138.
