Pedestrian Killed in Crash at Lebec Intersection
LEBEC, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2021) — A fatal Lebec pedestrian accident happened on Frazier Mountain Park Road at Grand Terrace Estates Drive.
The deadly crash happened at 5:53 a.m. on Nov. 5 at the Lebec intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a dark gray Toyota Corolla sedan struck the pedestrian, the CHP report said. It’s unknown what led up to the crash at this time.
Fatal Kern County Car Accident on Nov. 5
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the pedestrian and were blocking both eastbound and westbound lanes, police said. Sadly, despite their efforts, the pedestrian died on scene, the CHP dispatch report said.
Authorities contact the Kern County Coroner to respond to the Lebec intersection due to the fatal Lebec pedestrian accident. The identity, age and gender of the person is unknown publicly at this time.
Investigators working with the CHP seek to determine liability for the deadly crash.
