Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on S. Beckman Road in Lodi
LODI, Calif. (Dec. 6, 2023) — A fatal Lodi pedestrian accident happened Tuesday night on South Beckman Road, according to the Lodi Police Department.
The traffic accident occurred at around 5:10 p.m. on Dec. 5th in the 700 block of South Beckman Road, according to Fox 40 News.
The Lodi Fire Department responded and found the gravely injured pedestrian in the roadway. Despite life-saving efforts, the unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, the report said.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with the Lodi police investigation. Preliminary results indicate that drugs and or alcohol were not a factor for the driver. Also, the circumstances leading up to the crash were not released.
