Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle and Killed in Long Beach

 Fatal Long Beach Pedestrian Accident East Seventh Street and Campus DriveLONG BEACH, Calif. (August 22, 2022) – A fatal Long Beach pedestrian accident happened Monday at East Seventh Street and Campus Drive.

The deadly crash occurred about 1:40 a.m. on August 22nd, according to the Long Beach Police Department and CNS.

Police responded to the intersection of East Seventh Street and Campus Drive. They located the injured woman, but sadly she died at the scene, the report said.

It’s unknown at this time what led up to the deadly crash.

Additionally, the name of the woman who died will be released after her family members are notified about the collision, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner.

Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and is cooperating with the fatal traffic accident investigation.

Investigators are working on the case, but do not suspect alcohol, drugs, nor distracted driving are factors.
