
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2023) — A fatal Long Beach pedestrian accident happened Tuesday on Pacific Coast Highway involving a hit-and-run driver.
The deadly hit-and-run crash occurred about 9:15 a.m. on Feb. 14th on PCH and Harbor Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police arriving at the scene found a male adult with life-threatening injuries who appeared to be involved in a traffic collision.
Also, paramedics with the Long Beach Fire Department responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Authorities noted the driver did not stop after the crash, but there are no further details.
Police did not release the victim’s name or age.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
