2-Vehicle Crash Avenue 15 and Road 37 in Madera
MADERA, Calif. (May 5, 2021) — A fatal Madera car accident happened Wednesday afternoon at Avenue 15 and Road 37.
The collision happened about 2:16 p.m. on May 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a Toyota Camry traveling on Avenue 15 veered into opposing traffic before hitting a Dodge pickup head on and then into a Chevrolet Malibu. Cal Fire responded with paramedics to the scene to help the injured, but sadly two drivers died at the scene. Police did not indicate whether or not others were hurt in the Madera collision.

Also, the Madera County Coroner responded to the fatal Madera car accident about 2:42 p.m., the report said.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown what led up to the crash and liability has not been determined.
Investigators will piece together witness statements and evidence from the fatal Madera car accident.
