Man Struck, Killed in Madera Pedestrian Accident
MADERA, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2023) — A fatal Madera pedestrian accident happened Sunday night at South G Street and 11th Street.
A driver reportedly struck the man in the roadway at around 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1st, according to the Madera Police Department.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the traffic accident.
Police responded to the scene and located the Hispanic man seriously injured. Paramedics provided life-saving measures, but he died at the scene, ABC 30 News reports. The victim’s name and age were not released at this time, pending notification of his family members.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and cooperated with authorities.
Police are piecing together what happened and will determine fault.
Finally, the fatal Madera pedestrian accident remains under investigation.
