2-Vehicle Crash on PCH in Malibu
MALIBU, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2024) — Two vehicles were involved in a fatal traffic accident on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) on Tuesday in Malibu.
The rollover collision occurred in the 34300 block of PCH at around 12:10 p.m. on Feb. 13th at Decker Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police closed down the highway for several hours due to the crash between the drivers of a white Range Rover and another vehicle that were both heavily damaged and at least one was engulfed in flames. One of the vehicles overturned during the collision.
Los Angeles County Fire responded and extinguished the fire and assisted those involved, but at least one person was airlifted to a hospital and one person died following the crash.
The fatal car accident remains under investigation and authorities closed down PCH at Nicholas Beach Road in Malibu.
