Tanker-Truck Hits, Kills Pedestrian on PCH
MALIBU, Calif. (March 29, 2024) — A fatal Malibu pedestrian accident happened Friday morning near Pepperdine on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).
The deadly crash occurred at around 6:35 a.m. on March 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol and ABC 7 News.
A driver in a Diamond semi-tanker truck reportedly struck the victim in the southbound lanes of PCH at Cross Creek Road, according to ABC 7 News.
The unidentified man sustained major injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, the truck driver stopped and cooperated with authorities.
Investigators closed down all traffic lanes to conduct an investigation and gather evidence in the aftermath of the fatal pedestrian accident in Malibu.
