Semi-Truck Has Tire Blowout; Pickup Tries to Avoid Collision
Apparently, the pickup truck was traveling in the fast lane near a big rig truck that was hauling large round pipes. The larger truck was in the No. 2 lane when it suddenly got a flat tire on its left front tire, according to the Riverside Press Enterprise. The 46-year-old man driving the pickup attempted to avoid a collision with the big rig truck and swerved towards the center median of the freeway. However, he reportedly lost control of the pickup and it overturned twice before ending up in the No. 3 lane.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Menifee 215 Freeway crash.
