3-Vehicle Merced Crash Yosemite Avenue and Lake Road
MERCED, Calif. (May 24, 2021) – A fatal Merced crash happened Sunday night at Yosemite Avenue and Lake Road near UC Merced.
The 3-vehicle collision happened about 8 p.m. on May 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unclear what led up to the collision involving the three vehicles.
However, police confirmed that one person was not wearing a seatbelt and died in the crash. The name of the victim will be released by the coroner after their family members are notified. It’s unknown if anyone else was hurt in the collision.
The cause of the car accident remains under investigation.
