Male Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Black Mountain Road

MIRA MESA, Calif. (Dec. 20, 2024) — A male pedestrian died in a car accident Friday on Black Mountain Road at Gemini Avenue in Mira Mesa.

A southbound vehicle struck the man on Black Mountain Road about 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 20th, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Paramedics transported the injured person to a hospital, but he later died, police said.

The San Diego Medical Examiner will identified the person after relatives are notifieid.

Investigators closed down Black Mountain Road to traffic so that detectives could work on the case.
