One Killed, One Injured in Two-Car Crash in Mission Hills
MISSION HILLS, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2021) – A fatal Mission Hills crash happened Monday afternoon on Sepulveda Boulevard near the Eden Memorial Park cemetery.
One person died in the traffic collision and another person suffered injuries in the two-car collision, fire officials said.
The traffic accident happened about 5:15 p.m. in the 13470 Sepulveda Boulevard, near Rinaldi Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Sadly, one person suffered major injuries and died at the scene, fire officials said. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release their name after relatives are notified.
The second person became trapped in a vehicle, but firefighters extricated them before paramedics transported them to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the LAFD.
The cause of the deadly traffic collision was under investigation by police.
