MODESTO, California (October 28, 2014) — The drivers of a small car and a semi-tractor trailer truck collided Tuesday morning in a fatal crash after one of them drove through a red stop sign on Sycamore Avenue, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported at 10:50 a.m. near Eucalyptus Avenue. A small blue vehicle collided with a red and white 18-wheeler and the resulting impact sent the car into a nearby orchard.

“This is a tragedy for the family of the individual who died in this crash,” said Attorney James Johnson. “My condolences go out to them as they cope with their sudden loss.”
