2 Trucks, Car Collide on Maze Boulevard (Highway 132)
MODESTO, Calif. (May 27, 2021) — A fatal Modesto truck accident on Maze Boulevard happened Thursday morning on the roadway also known as Highway 132.
The Maze Boulevard truck accident happened about 6:27 a.m. on May 27th near Texas Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reports two semi trucks and an Acura TLX sedan collided due to unknown circumstances. During the collision, two people were ejected from the vehicle and one of them died. The second person suffered major injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital. A 4-year-old child also suffered undisclosed injuries in the collision.
Meanwhile, one of the semi trucks had front-end damage and the other had a broken rear axel on its trailer.
Tow trucks removed all three vehicles from the Maze Boulevard crash scene.
Investigations are working to determine fault for the deadly Modesto truck accident.
