3 Ejected in Solo Crash on I-10 Freeway in Montclair
MONTCLAIR, Calif. (June 14, 2022) — One person is dead and two others were injured following a solo-vehicle Montclair crash on the Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Monte Vista Avenue.
The deadly collision occurred about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 12th, according to the Press Enterprise and the California Highway Patrol.
Three people riding in a Honda were traveling eastbound on the I-10 Freeway. All three were ejected from the vehicle when the Honda crashed into a concrete barrier near Monte Vista Avenue.
One of the people ejected suffered fatal injuries and died on scene. Two others suffered undisclosed injuries and doctors treated them at a hospital. It’s unknown if the 24-year-old man driving the Honda suffered injuries in the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities did not release the name of the person who died, nor the ages and gender of the others hurt in the crash.
