MONTCLAIR, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2023) — Two men are dead following a hit-and-run pedestrian crash at Holt Boulevard and Ramona Avenue in Montclair.
The crash happened around 4:49 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2rd, according to the Montclair Police Department.
The two men were reportedly walking southbound across Holt Boulevard when an eastbound motorist struck them and fled the scene, KTLA reported.
Police and paramedics responded and one of the men was pronounced dead at the scene. The second was transported to a hospital where he died.
The victims have not been identified, but police described one as a Hispanic man about 35-40 years old and a Caucasian man around 50-55 years old.
The Montclair Police Department is now searching for a suspect . Witnesses or anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect will be eligible for a reward.
