Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at Riverside Intersection
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (August 31, 2023) — A fatal motorcycle accident happened Wednesday night at Arlington Avenue and Rutland Avenue in Riverside.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 7:50 p.m. on August 30th, according to CBS News.
A Riverside County District Attorney’s investigator was turning into a driveway and drove into the path of the oncoming motorcycle rider, according to police.
The 29-year-old motorcyclist crashed into the vehicle and died at the scene, the article said. Meanwhile, there were no injuries reported from the other driver.
An investigation is underway by the Riverside Police Department. They are working to determine whether or not the speed of the motorcyclist could have contributed to the crash.
