Motorcyclist Killed in Car Accident in Placer County
PLACER COUNTY, Calif. (August 8, 2024) — A fatal motorcycle accident happened Wednesday night in Placer County on Godley Road, just north of Mount Pleasant Road in Lincoln, California.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in front of 4081 Godley Road at around 5:30 p.m. on August 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP officials reported a motorcycle rider and a grey Toyota Sienna minivan were involved.
The Toyota was reportedly making a left-hand turn into a private driveway when the bike crashed into the van and its rider suffered major injuries. The motorcyclist died following the crash.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Godley Road in Placer County.
