Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Near Bodega Dunes Entrance Road
BODEGA BAY, Calif. (July 2, 2024) — A motorcycle rider and an SUV were involved in a fatal traffic accident Monday night on Highway 1 at Bodega Dunes Entrance Road in Bodega Bay, Sonoma County.
The traffic accident occurred at around 7:32 p.m. on July 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The vehicles collided on State Route 1 near the Bodega Harbor entrance between a young motorcycle rider and a white Subaru Forester SUV, the report said. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist suffered major injuries and died on scene. The victim’s name, gender and age were not released.
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office responded and closed down the roadway due to the fatal crash.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident in Bodega Bay.
