Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Interstate 10 Freeway in LA
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 14, 2022) — A fatal motorcycle accident involving a white SUV happened Friday morning on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of the Alameda Street on ramp.

The two-vehicle crash occurred about 6:13 a.m. on Oct. 14th in the downtown area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the vehicles collided in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway due to unknown circumstances.

Paramedics responded to help those involved, but sadly the rider died at the scene of the crash. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the victim’s name and age after notification of next of kin. The report did mention the rider was a Hispanic male about 30 to 40 years old.
Meanwhile, authorities issued a SigAlert for the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes. Also, a semi-truck pulled over following the motorcycle crash, but it’s unknown if it was involved.
The driver in the white SUV stopped and is cooperating with police.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the Interstate 10 Freeway motorcycle accident.
