Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Greenfield at Walnut Avenue, 13th Street

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif., (Sept. 10, 2026) — A tragic collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle happened early Thursday morning at Walnut Avenue and 13th Street in Greenfield.
The incident occurred on Sept. 10th at approximately 4:48 a.m. at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and 13th Street. According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following reports of a serious two-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, units confirmed the severity of the accident. Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider succumbed to their injuries at the scene. As of this report, the identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin. Emergency medical personnel and law enforcement were present at the scene throughout the early morning hours.
Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this fatal collision. They are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with information that could aid in the investigation.
