Motorcycle Fatality on I-805 Freeway in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Nov. 9, 2023) — A motorcycle rider died in an accident involving two pickup trucks on the northbound Interstate 805 Freeway, just south of Imperial Avenue in San Diego.
The three-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
A motorcyclist, a white pickup truck and a grey Toyota Tacoma pickup truck were involved. The vehicles collided in the carpool lanes of the freeway. The CHP report stated the Tacoma truck sustained left-side damage and stopped nearby.
Paramedics responded, but sadly the motorcyclist died on scene.
The identity of the victim was not released at this time.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the San Diego motorcycle accident on the 805 Freeway.
