Motorcyclist Dies in Car Accident in Alameda County
MOUNTAIN HOUSE, Calif. (July 26, 2023) — A fatal motorcycle accident happened on Saturday night on Mountain House Road and West Grant Line Road in Mountain House.
The collision occurred about 9:20 p.m. on July 22nd, near the intersection of West Grant Line Road and Mountain House Road in Alameda County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A black motorcycle was involved in the fatal collision near the San Joaquin County line in Mountain House, California. It’s unknown if the bike collided with another vehicle or if these were separate incidents. The CHP report stated the driver of the other vehicle reportedly began “yelling and freaking out” because he hit something.
The accident caused major blockage in both lanes. It was also reported that the entirety of the black motorbike was badly damaged a required a tow truck to remove it from the roadway. Sadly, the motorcyclist died following the accident.
Tow trucks arrived shortly after were called on the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case further to determine who is at fault for the motorcycle accident on Mountain House Road.
