Martin Ruedas, 37, Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Nisqualli Road in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2024) — Martin Ruedas, 37, of Hesperia, died in a motorcycle accident Saturday at Nisqualli Road and Ninth Avenue in Victorville.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 5:35 p.m. on Oct. 26th, according to the Victorville Police Department.
The Hesperia man was riding a blue Yamaha R6 and the bike collided with a gray Honda Pilot due to unknown circumstances. It happened in the westbound lanes of Nisqualli Road, the report said.
Victorville police and fire departments responded to the scene and the motorcyclist was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital where he later died.
The San Bernardino County coroner’s officials later identified the man as Martin Ruedas, 37, of Hesperia.
Meanwhile, the Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team is working on the case to determine fault. They closed down Nisqualli Road between Eleventh Avenue and Ninth Avenue for several hours.
Finally, the driver of the Honda stopped and cooperated with investigators.
