Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Involving SUV at Elverta and Black Eagle Drive
NORTH SACRAMENTO, Calif., (June 10, 2026) — A fatal car accident occurred early Wednesday morning at in Antelope on Elverta Road, resulting in the death of a motorcycle rider.
Authorities were alerted to the incident on June 10th at approximately 3:36 a.m. in the 3531-3799 block of Elverta Road near Black Eagle Drive. The collision reportedly involved a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV and a motorcycle, causing significant blockage in the westbound lanes of Elverta Road. Emergency responders, including the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and fire services, arrived swiftly on the scene to manage the situation.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased on-site, and the coroner was notified shortly after 4:00 a.m. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV, who reportedly spoke only Russian, was present at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by local authorities, who are seeking any witnesses to provide further information. The circumstances leading to the collision are still being determined.
