HESPERIA, Calif. (May 24, 2023) — One person is dead and another critically injured in a fatal motorcycle accident at Seventh Avenue and Sultana Street in Hesperia.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23rd, according to Victor Valley News. There is a stop sign posted for motorists traveling on Sultana Street, but not for Seventh Avenue.
The drivers of a burgundy Chevrolet pickup truck and the off-road type motorcycle were involved. Two people riding on the motorcycle were both critically injured.
Paramedics responded and an adult male from the bike was pronounced dead at the scene. Also, a second person riding on the bike was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the pickup truck stopped and is cooperating with authorities at the scene.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together what happened to determine fault.
