Motorcycle Rider Killed in Crash with Bus
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 11, 2025) – A motorcycle rider collided with a DASH bus in a fatal accident early Wednesday at Washington Boulevard and Alameda Street near downtown Los Angeles.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at 5:17 a.m. on June 11 at the LA intersection, just south of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The man in his 30s who was riding the bike suffered major injuries and died at the scene, police said.
The victim’s identity was not released, pending notification of their next of kin. The Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner will release the victim’s name.
Finally, the traffic accident is under investigation by the LAPD’s South Traffic Division.
