Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Truck and Sedan
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2025) — A fatal motorcycle crash happened Tuesday on the eastbound 105 Freeway near Paramount Boulevard in Santa Fe Springs.
The 3-vehicle traffic collision occurred in the middle lanes between a silver Toyota Camry, a motorcycle, and a big rig truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Downey Fire Department responded to help those injured, but unfortunately at least one person from the motorcycle died at the scene.
CHP officials reported the freeway’s HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes were closed due to the fatality and subsequent investigation into what happened.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Santa Fe Springs crash on the 105 Freeway.
