Motorcyclist, 22, Killed in Crash at Long Beach and Del Amo Boulevards
LONG BEACH, CA (February 23, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash at Long Beach and Del Amo boulevards on Monday evening.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident occurred on February 22. Officers reported the wreck at about 7 p.m.
The incident happened when a 1997 Chevy S10 truck was traveling east on Del Amo Boulevard. At the same time, a 22-year-old Compton man was riding a 2017 Honda motorcycle west.
The pickup then made a left turn into a parking lot. Police said in the process, the car struck the motorcyclist at the intersection with Long Beach Boulevard.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene. They found the rider suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed him to a hospital, where he died. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the Chevy stopped after hitting the motorcyclist. He stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the authorities.
