Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on State Route 74 in Meadowbrook
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2024) — A fatal motorcycle crash happened Thursday on Highway 74 at Hammack Avenue in the Meadowbrook area of Riverside County.
The traffic collision occurred at around 1:24 p.m. on Dec. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
CHP officials responded to the scene where the motorcyclist went down in the right lane and was being assisted by some good Samaritans.
The drivers of a silver Saturn and a white Toyota RAV4 SUV were stopped nearby. The driver in the Toyota told dispatchers the “motorcycle was trying to avoid her and crashed.”
The report stated the rider collided with the Saturn, but there are no further details.
Paramedics from the California Department of Fire Riverside County responded and confirmed the motorcycle rider’s death at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 74.
