TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (Aug. 3, 2023) — A fatal motorcycle versus truck accident happened Wednesday night at Avenue 328 and Road 112 near Visalia in Tulare County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2nd at the intersection in Tulare County, according to ABC 30 News.
The drivers of a pickup truck and the motorcycle were traveling in opposite directions before the truck driver reportedly turned into the rider’s path towards Road 112, according to the California Highway Patrol report. The 55-year-old Visalia man riding the motorcycle crashed into the side of the truck and suffered major injuries. Paramedics responded and rushed him to a hospital where he later died from his injuries. The victim’s name will be released after family members are notified.
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old truck driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation.
The fatal motorcycle accident on Avenue 328 remains under investigation.
