Fatal Multi-Vehicle Carson Collision 710 Freeway, Del Amo Boulevard

One Dead in Crash on North 710 Freeway

CARSON, CA (April 29, 2026) – One person died early Wednesday in a multi-vehicle collision on the Long Beach (710) Freeway near the Del Amo Boulevard off ramp in Carson.

According to the California Highway Patrol the collision occurred at 1:01 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29th between four vehicles, including a white Kia SUV, a gray sedan, a dark colored sedan, and a black sedan in the middle lanes of the freeway.

One of the vehicles went off the roadway and into an embankment and several vehicles had airbags deployed.

Sadly, one of the motorists was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police issued a SigAlert due to the closure for several hours of all northbound lanes of the freeway, as well as the Del Amo exit.
