At Least One Dead in Multi-vehicle Crash in Antelope Center
ANTELOPE CENTER, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2024) – A fatal multi-vehicle crash happened Thursday afternoon at 170th Street East and East Avenue S in Antelope Center.
The collision occurred at around 1:25 p.m. on Feb. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a light gray Toyota Camry sedan and a semi-truck hauling carrots were involved. At least one person died in the collision in Antelope Center near the Mojave Desert, the report said.
Los Angeles County Fire sent paramedics to the scene and located one person who appeared to be trapped in the wreckage.
One person died following the crash, but it’s unknown if any others were hurt. Authorities did not release the victim’s age, gender or identity at this time.
The case remains under investigation to determine fault for the crash on 170th Street East.
