Sacramento Regional Transit Bus Hits Man at Natomas Intersection
NATOMAS, Calif. (Sept. 9, 2024) — A Sacramento Regional Transit bus struck and killed a man Monday near Banfield Drive and Club Center Drive in Natomas.
The traffic accident, involving an RT Smart Ride bus, occurred at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 9th, according to the Sacramento Police Dept.
Sacramento police and firefighters responded to the scene and located the victim with severe injuries and unfortunately he died on scene.
The report does not release the victim’s name, but he was a man believed to be in his 60s.
Meanwhile, police questioned the Sacramento RT bus driver and continue to investigate what happened.
