Two Men Killed in Fiery North Hollywood Crash
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2021) – A fatal North Hollywood crash left two men were dead early Monday morning after a vehicle crashed into a palm tree on Vineland Avenue in North Hollywood.
The deadly crash happened about 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 11th at Vineland Avenue and Burbank Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Investigators believe the driver was traveling northbound on Vineland Avenue before he crossed into southbound lanes and crashed into the palm tree, police said.
Upon impact with the tree, the vehicle caught on fire prior to the arrival of firefighters arrived, the LAFD said.
Meanwhile, arriving firefighters located two people inside the vehicle after they extinguished the flames. Both the driver and passenger were men between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
