Fatal Northridge Motorcycle Crash Tampa Avenue, Lassen Street (4/9)

Roger Scott, 22, Killed; 3 Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (April 14, 2025) — Roger Scott, 22, died in a motorcycle accident last Thursday on North Tampa Avenue at Lassen Street in Northridge.

The auto versus motorcycle collision occurred around 6:29 PM in the 9900 block of N. Tampa Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. It happened near the Alfred B. Noble Charter Middle School.

Three other people were injured in the collision and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics transported the injured to a hospital in serious condition. Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash at this busy intersection.

Witnesses should contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
