Man, 20, Struck, Killed in Oakdale Area
OAKDALE, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2023) — A 20-year-old man died Monday night in a pedestrian accident at Patterson Road, just west of Kaufman Road in Oakdale.
The young man was struck by a vehicle and killed due to unknown circumstances around 7:54 p.m. on Sept. 11th in Stanislaus County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian was walking in a westbound direction on Patterson Road when a Ford vehicle struck him, according to CBS News.
Paramedics responded, but the man suffered major injuries and died at the scene. Authorities say the driver pulled over roughly 100 feet from the crash scene and cooperated with police.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Oakdale accident on Patterson Road.
