Pedestrian Struck by Pickup Truck on China Grade Loop
OILDALE, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2024) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Wednesday morning at China Grade Loop and Carrere Street in Oildale.
The traffic accident occurred around 5:50 a.m. on Nov. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP officials reported a driver in a gray Toyota Tundra pickup truck struck the victim in the eastbound lanes of China Grade Loop due to unknown circumstances.
The person was killed upon impact and the pickup truck was totaled, the report said.
A tow truck removed the damaged vehicle from the scene and investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on China Grade Loop.
