Fatal Ontario Car Accident Interstate 15 and 10 Freeways

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (March 11, 2025) — A fatal car accident in Ontario happened Tuesday on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the transition to the eastbound I-10 Freeway in San Bernardino County.
The California Highway Patrol report stated the crash occurred around 11:54 a.m. on March 11th, 2025.
The crash involved the drivers of a blue Toyota Prius and a black compact car, but it’s unknown what led up to the traffic collision.
Following the crash, however, the Prius was stalled in the No. 2 lane at the top of the transition road. Additionally, the black car was stopped on the right shoulder nearby.

Also, paramedics from the Ontario Fire Department responded to the scene and police closed down westbound lanes on the 10 Freeway.
Meanwhile, a helicopter landed in the westbound No. 3 lane of the I-10 Freeway to transport at least one person with major injuries to a hospital, however, there was also one person confirmed dead.
Furthermore, the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner has not released the victim’s age, gender, or identity at this time.
Finally, investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the Ontario car accident on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
