Deadly Ontario Crash on SR-60
ONTARIO, Calif. (Oct. 5, 2021) — A fatal Ontario crash happened Monday night on State Route 60 at Archibald Avenue.
The collision happened about 11:25 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP responded to the traffic crash in the area of eastbound State Route 60 and Archibald Avenue in Ontario.
They found a badly-injured 26-year-old San Bernardino driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro who collided with another vehicle. Paramedics transported the San Bernardino man to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:27 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Finally, witnesses may contact the California Highway Patrol-Rancho Cucamonga. They are piecing together evidence to determine fault for the deadly crash.
