One Killed, One Critically Injured in Crash at Orange Intersection
ORANGE, Calif. (Sept. 9, 2024) — A deadly motorcycle versus SUV accident on East Chapman Avenue at Yorba Street happened Friday afternoon in Orange.
The traffic accident occurred at around 2 p.m. on Sept. 6th in the 2700 block of East Chapman Avenue, according to the Orange County Register.
A driver in a Hyundai Tucson SUV was traveling westbound on Chapman Avenue when the driver turned south into a parking lot and collided with the eastbound motorcycle.
Two people were riding on the bike and one died at the scene and the other was critically injured, the report said.
Paramedics responded and transported the person with major injuries to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the SUV driver cooperated with authorities and was questioned about the circumstances leading up to the collision.

Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Bradshaw Road in Sacramento.
