1 Dead; 1 Critical Oroville Car Accident on Lincoln Boulevard
OROVILLE, Calif. (April 16, 2021) – A man died in a fatal Oroville crash Thursday morning on Lincoln Boulevard at Virginia Avenue in South Oroville.
He was a passenger riding in a blue Suburban that was traveling at high speed. The vehicle reportedly turned into a driveway and crashed into a rock and a power pole before hitting a garage, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, police closed down Lincoln Boulevard to a traffic after the 9 a.m. collision, according to Cal Fire.
Passenger Allegedly Killed in Fatal Oroville Crash
The man who died was identified by a relative as Adam Holmgren on social media. Meanwhile, the driver remains in critical condition.
Paramedics transported both men to a hospital after the solo-vehicle crash.
Meanwhile, PG&E is working to repair the power pole after it was damaged in the collision.
Investigators continue to work on the case.
