Pedestrian Struck, Killed at Oroville Intersection
OROVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 4, 2022) — A fatal Oroville pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday morning at Lower Wyandotte Road and Las Plumas Avenue.
The collision occurred about 6:45 a.m. on Oct. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a gray Nissan Frontier pickup truck was one of two vehicles to hit the pedestrian in the roadway.
The Butte County Fire Department responded to the scene and located the pedestrian lying in the middle of the roadway.
Sadly, the unidentified person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, the report said.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together what happened and will determine fault for the Oroville pedestrian accident.
