Fatal Crash at Pacoima Intersection
PACOIMA, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2023) — A fatal Pacoima pedestrian accident happened early Friday morning at Bradley Avenue and Louvre Street.
The deadly collision occurred at around 5:45 a.m. on Oct. 27th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and KTLA 5 News.
The driver of a white or gray Nissan or similar vehicle was traveling on Bradley Avenue when they struck the pedestrian at Louvre Street in the Pacoima intersection. There are no posted stop signs for drivers on Bradley Avenue, but there is a stop sign for motorists traveling on Louvre Street at the intersection.
Meanwhile, the person sustained major injuries and died at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the victim’s name after notifying family members.
Authorities are working on the case and will determine whether or not any charges will be filed against the driver.
Finally, the cause of the pedestrian accident on Bradley Avenue, as well as liability, remains under investigation.
