
Girl, 6, Killed, Five Injured At 2-Vehicle Crash
PALMDALE, Calif. (Jan. 27, 2025) – A 6-year-old girl died in a two-vehicle crash on Pearblossom Highway at 25th Street East in Palmdale.
Five other people suffered minor to serious injuries following the 11 a.m. collision on Saturday, Jan. 25th, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Authorities say a 55-year-old woman driving northbound in a 2022 gray Subaru Outback allegedly ran a red light and collided with a driver in an eastbound 2014 Toyota Camry.
The Toyota reportedly had a green traffic light when it entered the intersection. The Toyota broadsided the Outback in the intersection.
Paramedics responded and transported six people from the vehicles to two different hospitals, the LACFD said.
Unfortunately, the unidentified 6-year-old girl died at the hospital due to severe injuries.
Meanwhile, doctors treated the other five people for their injuries.
The collision remains under investigation by the Palmdale Sheriff’s Department.
